Dare I say Holy Grail Foundation?

I'm a typical Brit when it comes to complaining (we love it), so imagine my surprise when I  realized  that I've found a high street foundation that I actually bloomin' love! My skins quite dry and I really struggle to find a foundation that sits right. Especially on my nose, that pesky little bugger is the ultimate test of a foundation! Anyway I've had this for a good few months now and I thought it should  receive  the dazzling review it deserves!

And here she is! It's the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum *here* Yeah yeah, I'm sure you've heard about this before but to be totally honest it's worth the hype *horrible expression*. I tried the orginal Healthy Mix and honestly thought that it was okay, nothing special at all. This however is so much more nourishing and very very natural looking. In fact one of my friends didn't know I wore foundation daily as this looks so natural! I'd put the coverage and light to medium but you can  definitely  build it up. It's also very good if you like to only apply  foundation  to certain areas of the face.

I usually apply this beaut with a Real Techniques Buffing brush *here*, however it works beautifully with fingers and my Body Shop foundation brush*here*, so take your pick.
The proof is in the pudding and I think the pictures above show the difference it makes. In regards to staying power this is really nice, however what I like is that is doesn't fade into patches or awkward face crevices, it fades really nicely and evenly which is something that's surprisingly hard to find.

I'm not going to lie to you, this hasn't quenched my founation thirst *strangest expression ever*, I'm still looking for a good night out/special occasion founation. The closest I've come to finding a night out foundation is the Touche Eclat foundation but I just can't find the heart to hand over £29 for it!

Oh and this foundation retails for around a tenner, but it's often on some sort of 3 for 2 or discount.

Bourjois Lipstick In 53

I seem to do a lot of lipstick posts, it's not just that I own a lot of them (which I do) they're just quite easy and nice to review. Anyway here's another one from my collection, it's a Bourjois lipstick in the colour 53 Brique Chic.
I saw this in the Clearance in boots, I'm not going to lie to you,I bought it because it was £1.50 and it was Bourjois. My shopaholic ways truly have gotten the better of me haven't they?

The packaging is quite obscure but I really like it, the only problem is that my aunty has one of these and the little toggle has broken on the side so she can't get at it anymore. Hopefully this won't happen to me!
Oh Gosh is my skin this pale!

The colour is not very me at all, It's actually the only red lipstick I own, I'm much more of a pink girl. But I do actually really like this, it's brown based so it's not as hard to pull off as a shocking red. I'm really enjoying having a colour that isn't very me!
Quality wise this wears nicely, but it does that thing where it stays on the outside of your lips and fades a lot towards the inside. Anyone know what I mean? It's also quite stiff in the bullet so it can only be sheered out a certain amount.

The best places to buy makeup

Well hello :)
I though I would share with you a few of my favourite makeup stores. These shops have well priced makeup, nail varnish and other beauty products for prices that aren't going to make you purse cry. Basically I'm talking about the 'cheapo' shops. Things line BnM bargains, Poundland, Poundworld are like treasure troves for amazingly priced, genuine makeup. Not only this, but they have some makeup stock that has been discontinued, which means I've been able to be reunited with some old favourites.

I thought I'd give you a quick round up of a few products I've bought, I'll review each item separately, this is just a round up of what you can expect to find.

NYC Chroma Blusher
Poundworld £1
Discontinued

Revlon Matte Nail Polish
Poundland £1
RRP £6.49

Rimmel Last Finish Blusher
Poundworld £1
RRP £5.19

Bourjois Clubbing Mascara
Poundworld £1

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation
BnM Bargains £2.99

There are of course more, and I will be letting you know about what i get and if the products are any good. I apologise for the absence of any pictures in this post, so i used so colours to make up for it. So yeah, basically get yourself down to Poundland/Poundworld/BnM!
Please do let me know if there are any products you'd like me to review,
