The 7 Deadly Sins of Beauty

This tag has been going around Youtube recently and I thought it seemed like fun, so I gave it a go! I apologise in advance if my answers aren't very concise, so anyway here we go!

1.Greed: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?

If you have read my blog you probably know that I do a lot of makeup shopping at Poundland, but I thought seen as Poundland is not a constant I thought I would do this based on the RRP. I have several Products at around £1, but I have chosen the MUA eye shadows due to the excellent quality for the price!

I'm sorry that my most expensive item isn't very exciting or scandalously expensive. It's a Creasless Cream eyeshadow from Benefit, I really do like it as well! I'm not sure this counts though as I didn't actually pay for it, I got it as a gift for purchasing a ticket from The Clothes Show.

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?

This was quite difficult for me to chose, but I'm going with the Natural Collection Lipsticks. I have done a blog post on these saying how great they are, but the bullets have come off in nearly every lipstick I've had from this brand! I'm not one to fuss over packaging if it's cheap looking but if it's poor quality it does tend to annoy me!

3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
I have previously confessed my love of the Collection 2000 Cream Puffs, I've actually just bought another one today! They just smell like cake and are generally quite yummy. I also have to mention the Body Shop Born Lippy in the colour Guava, it smells so fruity and fresh!

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
I don't so much have a particular product I neglect,  but I do tend to miss out highlighter and lip liner a lot! I just feel like out of all the steps in my makeup routine these make the least impact so are easiest to miss out.

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
This is a funny one for me, I probably wouldn't go further than a mile away from my house without foundation as it's just a bit of a necessity for me, but for me foundation stops me feeling self conscious rather than makes me feel confident. My Gel eyeliner makes me feel like super confident, I just love the way my eyes look when I have it on!

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

I presume as this is a beauty tag, that this refers to physical attributes, so I would have to say hair and height. I describe the hair I like as a 'man bob' (which my boyfriend HATES), but you know what I mean right? Just kind of Matt Lanter type hair.
Personality wise it's really important to me that someone is interesting to speak to, It sounds hopelessly nerdy but I like to learn things from people in my life, so I actually really like it when my boyfriend nerds out on me and starts chatting on about History or Geography.

7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
I'd say anything that is just out of my price range, so something I could afford but I just struggle to part with the money for. Say around the £20 mark? I just received the Real Techniques Core Collection as an early birthday present for example.

I hope that you enjoyed this and I do apologise for the rambling and general length! Also TAG! Your it! If you do/have done this tag then post a link below! I would love to read them, or just post your answer in the comments if you don't have a blog!

Make Up Collection! Lip Sticks

Bonjourno! Now I don't have a particularly large collection, however it is growing scarily quite rapidly at the moment so I will probably do another one in six months or a year. Basically the idea is that I will do these posts and if there is anything at all you would like to be reviewed I will get on that straight away! I have already reviewed quite a few of these and I will link any reviews I have done below the pictures.
The picture has cut out one of the Natural Collection lipsticks and another wasn't in the picture at all, but here's the break down of what's there.

Berry Blast and Orange Punch are both discontinued but they are widely available at Poundland, Sugar Plum is available here

Sexy Mother Pucker!

Hola! How's your day so far gorgeous?
So I'm in rather a good mood today as it's my Anniversary with my boyfriend (two years), so in the spirit of kissable lips I thought I would review Sexy Mother Pucker which claims to give you a plum, gorgeous pout!

I don't think the packaging looks exactly like this now, as this is something I've had for a while. I think it's the same basic principle though, just rather simple with some pretty writing. The wand is also pretty basic, but it does the job well so no complaints so far! When you apply this to your lips you will notice that there is an artificial chocolate smell. A little but like Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer but more intense, so if you don't like that kind of thing then this probably isn't for you, as for me though I'm a Pucker (do you get it? Rhymes with sucker....never mind) for anything that smells good. But the question is, does it work?
So these are my lips with nothing on them, I swear they don't usually look that bad. But this is literally nothing, not even licked.

This is straight after applying the gloss. Now the gloss itself is incredibly sticky feeling wich I know some people don't like. Like all plumping glosses this will tingle! My friend used this and really hated the tingling, but I actually quite like the tingly feeling! I don't think it's painful at all, just tingly really.
You can see that this makes my lips look more plumped, the immediate effect of this is definitely very good. I've been using this for a while ( maybe like twice a week?) And I have actually noticed a difference in my lips!
Another thing I love about this is that it actually makes a really long wearing lip gloss. And I mean long wearing, this picture was taken a couple of hours after applying the gloss and you can see that it's still actually there, and that my lips look a million times better than in picture one!

I apologise for the rambling, I'm off to get ready now, I hope you all have a wonderful day!
Have you tried anything like this?

Collection 2000 Lipstick in Orange Punch

Hola! So orange lipsticks certainly are not for the faint hearted and when it comes to orange I am certainly faint hearted!
I'm honestly a little afraid of the colour orange, I'm naturaly ginger so have freckles which is a lot of orange to contend with anyway. However I picked this up as orange seems to be a pretty popular colour of recent and I trhough someone out there might like it!
I do genuinley think this look really nice if you look just at my lips, but it just doesn't suit my colouring. However I wear this softly applied and it looks great, so no a waste of money! Pigmentation wise you can see that it's pretty good, this is only £2.99 RRP but it can be found in poundland for a squid!

Overally quality wise this is okay, you can't expect amazing things for the price. If your looking for a Holy Grail lipstick I wouldn't recomend this, but if you want to experiment with colours then I would definetley recomend this.

I had an Idea!

So I mentioned in my previous post that I am lacking a good camera at the moment so couldn't fully review the Sleek 3 Palettes. So, I had a brainwave and thought I would do a video with a bit more of a full review.
I don't know how to control the thumbnail! I hope you enjoy this, please so let me know if you like the video format and also if there are any videos/tutorials you would like!

I will still post proper swatches of these when I get the chance, and that's pretty much all I have to say :)

Please let me know what you think of this video! Whether it be nice or advice on how to make future videos better,

Sleek Blush by 3 Palette

Hello lovelies :)

I don't have my usual camera at the moment so I can't really do a full review on this beauty right now, however as soon as I have access to it I will be sure to do a full review! Basically this post is just to inform you of the existence of these palettes.

I Hope that you can see, is not the outer shades are matte and the middle on has some shimmer in it. My palette is in 'Sugar' and I love love love it :) I'm pretty sure that all of the palettes have the two matte, one shimmer set up. Sleek blushes are notorious for being great so I dove in at the deep end and bought three in one foul swoop to my purse! ( £9.99) I like this so much I'm tempted to purchase 'Lace' which my purse is even less happy about!
The reason I didn't want to wait to do this post is because these are limited edition and I'm not sure how long they will be available. I do know though that they are a permanently available in the London Marble arch store.

Have you tried this? Or any Sleek blushers for that matter,

Collection 2000 Extreme Felt Tip Liner

I saw my friend wearing this a while ago and it just looked so pretty, she said it was about a fiver so next time I went to Superdrug i picked one up. Only to find that they're £2.99! The packaging is pretty simple but in a stylish way.
It does claim to last 24 hours, which it might do if you are counting until it's completely gone. I'd say this loses it's intensity after about 6 hours, which I think is great for the price! With a primer this would surivive a night out.
The colours don't appear to be named or numbered, but I have the teal shade, which is just gorgeous. I didn't get the black as I already have a black eyeliner and wanted something a bit more fun. I have to say that this is super easy to apply, as with most felt tip liners. However you do need to give it a minute after applying as it will smudge. If you are new to eyeliner then I would suggest trying this out as it's so easy to use and it's cheap too!
Excuse the orange eyebrows! The pictures don't really do this justice, in real life it's quite an intense teal shade. The only real problem I have with this is that the shades aren't great. There is a 'Biro' blue which I just can't imagine would be very flattering. There's also a purple but it's quite vivid so I don't think that would be awfully flattering either.

Do you own this? What are you favourite coloured eyeliner?

Elf Shimmering Facial Whip

I was quite looking forward to receiving this as I'd had my eye on it for a while. I'm also finding myself falling in love witt the whole concept of cream blushers. They're just so easy to work with and generally lovely. Cream blushes never cease to surprise me with how little I need to get a quite an intense colour. Sadly this doesn't have that quality, you need quite a lot to get a good colour.

The colour I have here is Citrus which I thought would be a great shade for me, but alas I wish I'd have gone with something like Pink Lemonade instead, just because it's a little brighter. You can see from the swatch that the colour is just generally dull. My favourite thing about this is the finish, it's very pretty and pearly without being shimmery. However it's pretty hard to achieve the finish as this is not an easy product to apply!

All in all I don't feel any loss from having this and won't be getting rid of it, but it very rarely gets used as I have so many other nicer blushes, plus the colour also isn't great so I just don't tend to reach for it.

I hope this review was of some help,

Uder-rated foundation!

Around August time my Grandma saw this foundation on 3 for 2 at boots, so she bought two for herself and gave one to me. I know, how awesome is my Grandma?!

I read/watch a lot of blogs and I don't think I have ever come across a review on this, or anything generally stating how wonderful it is! It's medium coverage but it looks very natural due to the colour adapt technology. It can also be built up into a really beautiful full coverage foundation. The finish feels really nice, it's not the slightest bit sticky. It's probably my favourite foundation, it's great on my dry winter skin and my oily summer skin! Also the packaging is great, I forgot to snap a picture, but the way the pump is designed means literally no product is wasted.
If this is my favourite foundation, it may confuse you as to why it isn't my everyday foundation, basically it's nearly ran out and as it's a tenner I can't afford to buy it again, but then I found it on cheap smells for £6! Woo- that's my week made :)
What underrated products do you own?
